  • 1874: Dagenham Gulf (Essex), an immature obtained on October 3rd (Birds of Essex, Wood 2007)
  • 1891: Waltham/Cheshunt (Essex), one shot on October 24th (Birds of Essex, Wood 2007)

The 1874 record relates to a bird that was found in a thick reedy ditch in Dagenham that is now part of the Ford motor works area and the specimen is now in the Essex Field Club collection.
