Dusky Thrush
A very rare vagrant, there have been eight records of the nominate subspecies in the UK and two records of the naumanni race (both in London) which some authorities (including Clements) have split off as a separate species - Naumann's Thrush. A BBRC rarity.

- 1997: South Woodford (Essex), a first-winter from January 6th-11th (LBR reference req)

The first bird in 1990 sparked a major twitch and was widely seen during its seven week stay while the second bird was only ever seen by its finders.
