Morden Hall Park 2010 Breeding Bird Census & Standard Walk Weekly/Monthly Counts Survey. Edit
This is a follow on study of Ornithological surveys carried out at Morden Hall Park (NT) TQ264687 in the late 1990's through to 2002. The object for the re-survey is to look at and consider any quantitative and qualitative changes in Avifauna witnessed over the last decade since the first survey Period. The study is in the form of a direct comparison survey from the first survey period to this and uses (SWM =Standard Walk Methodology) as the principle survey technique. This survey method lends itself, well and is very useful for this type of direct comparison work and has been used to good effect both in the past and present by many conservation organisations toward gather information on the effectiveness of conservation works, habitat management and generally as a method of monitoring / looking at (Biodiversity) sustainability, both in terms of abiotic and biotic influences.
