  • 2003: Dartford (Kent), on September 15th, also seen over Wilmington (Kent) and roosted near Hextable (Kent), before heading off N on September 16th when seen at Orsett (Essex); at Old Slade Lake (Bucks), at the M4/M25 Junction (Middx) on September 17th; it spent the night of September 17th on a lamppost in Harefield (Middx) and flew off the following morning; lastly at Troy Mill GP (Herts) on September 18th (LBR 68). It then overwintered in Kent and was presumed to be the same bird seen in 2004 at: South Ockenden (Essex), on a rooftop on March 18th; also over Wraysbury GP (Bucks), Chertsey/Bookham Common/Leatherhead (Surrey) on April 1st; over Fetcham (Surrey) on April 2nd; Amwell GP (Herts) on April 9th and May 11th; Rye Meads (Herts) on May 13th; over Hertford (Herts) on May 15th; Whipps Cross Common (Essex) on May 18th and 24th; New Denham (Bucks), from June 30th to July 3rd (LBR 69)
  • 2004: Addlestone (Surrey), flew over on September 7th (LBR 69)
  • 2005: Reigate (Surrey), on March 17th (LBR 71)
  • 2006: Crossness/Darenth/Sidcup (Kent), flew over on March 19th, later seen at Rainham Marshes (Essex) (LBR 71)
  • 2006: Tyttenhanger GP/London Colney, a different bird flew over on March 19th (LBR 71)
  • 2006: Godstone (Surrey), four flew over on August 6th (LBR 71)

Unacceptable recordsEdit

  • 1930: Richmond Park (Surrey), on May 11th. This was seen on the ground and thought at the time to probably be an escape (LNHS 1964)
